Students who follow the Catholic Schools track can expect coursework in:

  • Old Testament, including Pentateuch, Prophets, Psalms and Wisdom literature
  • New Testament, including Gospels, Theologies, Paul, and Revelation
  • The history of Christianity, the U.S. religious experience, U.S. Catholicism and African-American religion
  • Ethics
  • A wide choice of study in doctrine, including marriage, prayer, theology of Mary, Atheism, the sacraments and liberation theology
  • World religions, including study of Hinduism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam
  • Religion and culture, covering topics such as the relationship between religion and film, literature, the arts, science and social sciences
  • Philosophy of religious education or theory and practice of religious education
