THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in Cultural Anthropology to begin January 5, 2009, and continue through the 2009-10 academic year, with possibility of renewal. We are seeking a Ph.D. but will consider an MA or ABD in Anthropology with an area specialization in either South Asia or Latin America. Successful candidate will teach introductory courses in Cultural Anthropology and Culture and Power and have the opportunity to teach courses in their area of expertise. Candidates having teaching experience are preferred, in addition experience working with or teaching and advising students from diverse backgrounds is desirable. Sensitivity to or appreciation for a Catholic, Marianist Education is valued. Salary is competitive.
