The Theatre Program offers a Bachelor of Arts in theatre available through the Department of Communication. Theatre is the most complex of the arts since it requires many artists for its creation; the actors, directors, scene designers, stage technicians and playwrights. This complexity leads many to call it a collaborating art form since it combines the written word of the literary artist, the scenic background of the architect, the speech and movement of the actor and the interpretation, style, movement patterns and overall guidance of the director.  A minor is also available through the Theatre Program.
