The dean and three associate deans administer the College’s wide range of majors and programs in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. In addition, the College administers a highly-integrated general education program that serves every student regardless of major.

Five assistant deans are responsible for the Student Academic Affairs Center and work closely with students and their advisors. They register students for their first semester, track student progress towards graduation, and help students understand the possibilities for developing a wide range of career choices and life directions at the University.

The Assistant Dean of Special Programs and Continuing Education works with adult learners and coordinates a wide-range of special programs.

The dean’s staff, working closely together as a team, enables students, faculty, and staff to achieve the University’s academic mission.
