Learn about one of the most exciting and rewarding careers in music - MUSIC THERAPY!
As healthcare professionals, board-certified music therapists are trained to engage clients of all ages in listening, playing and composing experiences in order to bring about health in the client's emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual functioning. Through classroom discussion, guest speakers, and local site visits, this summer camp program will introduce you to clinical populations with which music therapists work and the specific methods and interventions they use. Visit the website of the American Music Therapy Association for more information about music therapy as a career option!
