The Language Learning Center (LLC) is located on the third floor of the Jesse Philips Humanities Center. The LLC offers students several individual work stations where they can listen to audio tapes and international radio broadcasts, watch videos and international television, read current publications from various countries, practice their language skills, communicate with other countries over the Internet and e-mail, and sharpen their listening and reading skills on interactive computer/video-disk machines. In addition to the public LLC facility, the adjoining classsroom offers organized classes direct access to a wide variety of authentic materials from various countries. Every language skill course in modern languages spends at least one hour each week learning in the LLC Classroom. The Jesse Philips Humanities Center also includes a networked computer lab with both PC's and Mac's where upper-level writing courses in modern languages are frequently scheduled. For more information, visit the Language Learning Center homepage.
