The Rivers Institute at the University of Dayton is an initiative to bring key partners in Dayton and surrounding communities together to join efforts to protect and preserve water resources. Students, faculty and staff from the University are working with community members, key stakeholders, and local organizations among others to develop a pool of shared resources and information available to the public.

The mission of the Rivers Institute is to build opportunities for the Dayton community to see our rivers as the strategic natural resource central to the communal, economic, aesthetic and ecological vitality of the region. Click here to read more.
The Rivers Institute is currently housed within the Fitz Center for Leadership in Community on the University of Dayton campus and is open to all new members, ideas, and resources.
